05 December 2016
Saturday 3rd December saw the first of Stirling Court Hotel’s special festive events with Santa visiting the hotel for our Autism Inclusive Santa Lunch.
Local families joined us for an afternoon of face-painting, arts and crafts and a delicious buffet lunch…oh, and a visit from the man himself of course!
The bright and airy conservatory was the setting for the day. Christmas songs played gently in the background while our face-painting elf transformed the children into Elsa from Frozen, a snowman and even Santa Claus, among others!
Some spent their time in the quiet arts and crafts corner or in the relaxing chill-out zone while waiting to visit to Santa’s sleigh and deliver their letters and receive their Christmas gift.
Feedback from the families who joined us has been truly overwhelming, with one mum saying it was ‘a fantastic experience and we’ll be back next year. The best gift we’ve had, both boys having the same experience and sharing it as a family’ with another saying it was a ‘great afternoon lunch and the kids loved it. Food was delicious and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend to everyone – will definitely be back’.
Overall it was a truly magical day for the families that joined us and the Stirling Court Hotel team who were there on the day. We hope you all enjoy the rest of the festive season!
